Located on the third floor of Unity, our historic Major Hall is the perfect venue for a truly unforgettable day, from original wooden flooring to ethereal stained glass windows and lofty ceilings this venue holds the essence needed to bring your dream wedding to life. Providing dynamic lighting, a fully equipped refreshments bar, a professional PA system and an ideal stage area to fit all your needs, with space for 480 seated guests and 800 standing this elegant space captures the timeless charm needed to bring your dream day to life.
Minor Hall – Intimate charm for your perfect day
Located on the fourth floor of Unity, our captivating minor hall offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for couples seeking a more intimate gathering. Its cosy, light-filled interior provides a perfect canvas to cater for all your wedding needs, with space for 200 standing guests and 80 seated guests, including a small stage area ideal for a Dj or solo singer to deliver entertainment for your dream day.

Wondering about our available catering and facilities? Unity hall provides a flexible, stress-free approach to hospitality with in-house catering and alcohol available. We can help you keep all your guests happy and keep your big day running smoothly, or if you prefer to have your own catering we welcome external catering within our halls. No need to worry about guests arrival as we have on-site parking available or for guests arriving via public transport we are conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the nearest bus and train station, we also provide a fully accessible entrance with a lift to all floors.

Our affordable venue is applauded by guests, highlighting our ‘set price rooms’ and options extras along with “no additional costs for getting married on a weekend”.
Our use of one “fully customisable” room to provide the entire day from ceremony to meal to evening do’ is commended to create a simple and easy day that is fit to your desires, giving you access for the full day before your wedding to create your dream look.
Guests especially praise the hospitality shown through our event coordinator Shellie, some of our guests Rea and Sam commend her recommendations of “a lovely wedding car” along with “a DJ, light tech, caterer and wedding hire company” and her knowledge in ways to help the day run smoothly. Our location is described as “perfect”, providing “lots of parking”, with a “4 minute walk to the train station and several hotels nearby.”
